Mexico has many faces. Since 2009, Rostros Mexico brings pieces with identity to people who value their origin, techniques, and the stories that accompany them. Living Stories gathers voices, places, knowledge, and memories that allow us to look at each creation with a closer perspective. Because a piece not only transforms a space: it can also keep a technique alive, express a community, and connect the creator with the person who chooses it.
People, techniques, and origin
Each product gathers different materials, knowledge, and processes. We share the stories authorized by the creators, artisan families, and participating workshops. We work to continuously improve the documentation of the origin, materials, and techniques of our collection, so you can choose a piece with greater context and know what makes it special.
Fair trade and recurring purchases
Rostros Mexico maintains a commitment to fair trade through recurring purchases from artisan families and participating workshops. These purchases generate new demand, provide commercial continuity to creative work, and recognize the value of the knowledge, time, and dedication present in each piece.
Artisan families and new collaborations
We currently have a waiting list of artisan families interested in joining future purchases. This incorporation considers the quality of the pieces, production capacity, origin, and agreed conditions. Our goal is to grow responsibly and build long-lasting relationships.
An educational project in the making
We are also managing an educational project for the children of artisan families. Interested families can join a waiting list while we develop the alliances, criteria, and resources needed. Once the call is ready, we will clearly publish its objectives and scope.
